v2html can also generate output that uses frames, so that when the pages are viewed your browser window is split into 3 frames, the top one showing the hierarchy, the middle one showing the verilog code and the bottom one showing the values of defines and other things you click on.  

If you do not like the horizontal splitting then you can have the window split vertically instead.
